Last May 21, 2011, St. Rafael Development Corporation (SRDC) had its Basic Supervisor Skills seminar at the Conference Room which was attended by 25 participants both foremen and leadmen.

As the company is concentrated on putting God first on top of everything, the seminar began with a guiding verse from 1 Peter 5:2-4 which speaks of the three attitudes of: willingness; spontaneous, eagerness and enthusiasm and; meekness.

It was Andrew Escuban who facilitated the seminar. He discussed about the role of a supervisor and the responsibilities tied with his position. The group of foremen and leadmen was then divided into 2 groups for the workshop activity. The workshop was about house construction which was intended to surface the planning strategy, teamwork, unity and meeting of the time limit of each group. The materials needed were provided by SRDC. After 45 minutes, Escuban gave his observation regarding the character of each member during the making of houses and pointed out the good and bad points of their product.

Aside from the house construction activity, the participants also had a puzzled house game where the puzzles were pieces from scratch papers. It took 20 minutes for each group to keep their opinions and thoughts unsaid after they were able to break it when they started to put the pieces together.
